This courtyard was initially a rather underwhelming entrance point to a reverse level home. Featureless streaked walls and concrete flags gave no inkling of the delightful property above. Our brief was to transform this courtyard into a welcoming outdoor entrance hall.

Combining contemporary and vintage elements with a bold colour palette we introduced bespoke trellising, which doubled as a screen for an outdoor shower.

The floorscape was re imagined with neutral porcelain tiles combined with beach pebbles as a nod to the courtyard's seaside location.​
